The delivery period begins on the day after conclusion of the contract. If the end of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday at the place of delivery, the period ends on the next working day. In this case, we are entitled to deduct theactually incurred additional costs (in particular the return shipping costs charged by the carrier, any original shipping costs already incurred, as well as reasonable processing or handling costs) from the amount to be refunded or to demand reimbursement from the customer.

§10 Information on the disposal of batteries and waste electrical equipment
In connection with the sale of batteries and of electrical and electronic equipment containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we inform you of the following in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 concerning batteries and waste batteries, the German Battery Law Implementation Act (BattDG) and the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG):
Waste batteries and waste rechargeable batteries do not belong in household waste. As an end user, you are legally obliged to return waste batteries and must hand them in separately from unsorted municipal waste at a collection point provided for this purpose. In this way, you help to ensure that waste batteries can be prepared for re-use or recycled.
You can return waste batteries to us free of charge. Our take-back obligation covers waste portable batteries regardless of their chemical composition, brand, origin, size and condition; it is limited to the battery categories that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range, and to the quantity that private end users usually dispose of. The return is not tied to the purchase of a new battery and does not require that you bought the battery from us. Products with built-in waste batteries are excluded from this take-back; the information on waste electrical equipment below applies to them. You can also hand in waste batteries free of charge at municipal collection points (e.g. recycling centres) and at retailers that sell batteries.
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin on batteries, electrical and electronic equipment or their packaging means that they must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of their life but must be collected separately. If a battery contains more than 0.002 % cadmium or more than 0.004 % lead, the chemical symbol of the metal concerned is also shown below the symbol:
- Pb = battery contains lead
- Cd = battery contains cadmium
- Hg = battery contains mercury (this marking is only found on older batteries)
Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing lithium, e.g. lithium-ion batteries, can catch fire if they are damaged, short-circuited or handled improperly. Do not continue to use damaged, deformed or swollen batteries and rechargeable batteries, and do not open them. Before returning waste batteries containing lithium, tape over their terminals to prevent a short circuit. Separate collection also reduces the risk of fire during disposal.
Batteries can contain substances that can harm the environment and human health if waste batteries are disposed of improperly, for example in household waste or by being thrown away in nature. Separate collection keeps these substances out of household waste and the environment, and valuable raw materials such as lithium, cobalt and nickel can be recovered through recycling. You contribute to waste prevention by extending the service life of your rechargeable batteries: charge them only with the chargers intended for them, protect them from extreme heat and cold and avoid discharging them completely.
Waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste either. You are obliged to take it to a collection separate from unsorted municipal waste, e.g. via municipal collection points. Before handing waste equipment in at a collection point, you must remove waste batteries and waste rechargeable batteries that are not enclosed by the waste equipment, as well as lamps that can be removed from it without being destroyed, in a non-destructive manner and dispose of them separately. Distributors with a sales area for electrical and electronic equipment of at least 400 m² and food retailers with a total sales area of at least 800 m² that offer electrical and electronic equipment several times a calendar year or permanently must take back free of charge, when supplying a new device, an old device of the same type and, even without a purchase, up to three old devices per type of equipment with no external dimension greater than 25 cm; in distance selling, the storage and shipping areas count as the sales area. You are personally responsible for deleting any personal data on waste equipment to be disposed of.
Alternative dispute resolution pursuant to § 36 VSBG:
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
