The JIESTAR FF40010 – JIESTAR Aircraft Carrier Fujian is a building block model of the most modern aircraft carrier of the Chinese Navy. With 3,168 parts, a detailed replica of the Type 003 carrier is created – as a pure display model for military and naval fans.

The Original – the Aircraft Carrier Fujian

The Fujian (hull number 18) is China's third aircraft carrier and the first to be fully developed and built in China. The ship was launched on June 17, 2022, at the Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai and officially commissioned on November 5, 2025, by President Xi Jinping. With a length of around 316 meters, a flight deck width of 75 meters, and a displacement of over 80,000 tons, the Fujian is the largest warship ever built in China and the world's largest active warship with conventional propulsion. The most important feature of the ship is its electromagnetic catapult system (EMALS) – the same technology used by the US Navy on the USS Gerald R. Ford. Three such catapults enable the launch of heavy fighter jets like the stealth fighter J-35, the J-15T, and the KJ-600 early warning aircraft. The flat flight deck without a ski-jump offers more space for takeoffs and landings. The Fujian is the first aircraft carrier outside the USA and France with this modern CATOBAR launch system. It is estimated to carry around 50 aircraft on board.

The Model – JIESTAR FF40010

The JIESTAR Fujian model recreates the carrier's long, flat hull with its wide flight deck, the distinctive island (bridge structure) on the starboard side, the two aircraft elevators, and the catapult tracks in building blocks. Small aircraft models on the deck add extra depth to the warship model. The model is designed as a pure display model – no RC drive included.
