The Mould King 17050 – Mould King Crane Truck is a remote-controlled building block kit of a heavy-duty crane truck. With over 4,012 parts and nine motors, it creates a functional model with pneumatics, a rotating crane arm, and RC control via remote or app.

The Inspiration – the Heavy-Duty Mobile Crane

Heavy-duty mobile cranes are used on construction sites and in industries worldwide. They transport themselves on public roads and can start working immediately at the deployment site without setup time. Modern heavy-duty mobile cranes have crane arms that can extend telescopically to over 30 meters and, depending on the model, can lift up to several hundred tons. Outriggers are extended before use for stabilization. The crane arm can be rotated, raised, and lowered. The Mould King 17050 is based on the design of a modern heavy-duty crane truck with a telescopic arm and replicates many of these functions as a remote-controlled model.

The Model – Mould King 17050

The Mould King crane truck model is over 68 cm long and features many real functions: the crane arm can be extended, retracted, and rotated. The valve switch controls the tilting of the dump body. The outriggers can be lowered to stabilize the vehicle. Propulsion is provided by four L-motors and three M-motors, supplemented by a pneumatic system. Control is via the included remote control or a smartphone app. All motors, a lithium battery box, and the remote control are included.
