The CaDA C61076 – CaDA Tiltrotor Aircraft is a building-block model of a military tiltrotor aircraft in 1:8 scale. With 1.424 parts, it creates an impressive Tiltrotor Aircraft building-block model with a wingspan of around 70 cm – buildable either as a tiltrotor aircraft or a helicopter (2-in-1 configuration).

The original – the Bell V-280 Valor

The Bell V-280 Valor is an American tiltrotor military aircraft developed as part of the US Army's Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) programme. As the successor to the proven UH-60 Black Hawk, it combines the speed of a fixed-wing aircraft with the agility of a helicopter: in flight, the engines tilt by 90 degrees and thus generate thrust like a propeller aircraft, while the rotors stand vertically during take-off and landing. The range of the V-280 Valor exceeds that of the Black Hawk by around 80 percent; cruising speeds of over 500 km/h are possible. In 2022, Bell won the FLRAA contract for the US Army, securing one of the most significant helicopter contracts of the post-war era.

The Model – CaDA C61076

The CaDA military aircraft building-block model recreates the characteristic tiltrotors, the wide fuselage and the overall military form of the V-280 Valor in clamping bricks. The CaDA Technic aircraft model is designed as a 2-in-1 set: it can be built as a tiltrotor aircraft with horizontally aligned rotors or as a classic helicopter with vertical rotors. As a building-block aircraft, it is designed without an RC power set – a static display model for the display cabinet or desk.
