The Bole Brick YC-23044 – Bole Brick Audi R8 LMP 2000 Le Mans Race Car is an officially licensed building block model of the legendary Audi R8 LMP in a 1:10 scale. With 2,426 parts, it creates a detailed replica of arguably the most successful Le Mans prototype of all time – as a static display model with LED lighting.

The Original – the Audi R8 LMP

The Audi R8 LMP is one of the most successful race prototypes in motorsport history. Developed with Joest Racing Team, the R8 debuted in 2000 with a one-two-three victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Powered by a 3.6-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with gasoline direct injection (FSI) and around 610 hp, the R8 achieved five Le Mans victories between 2000 and 2005. In its active period, it achieved a total of 63 wins in 80 race starts. A technical highlight was the modular rear end – the gearbox and rear axle could be swapped in minutes using quick-release fasteners. The FSI gasoline direct injection introduced in 2001 found its way into Audi's production vehicles shortly thereafter. The model shows the R8 in the livery of the Audi Sport Team Joest from the 2000 season.

The Bole Brick Audi R8 LMP model translates the flat, wide silhouette of the race prototype with its large rear wing, open wheel arches, distinctive front end, and air vents into building blocks. LED headlights and taillights are installed. The model is designed as a static display model – no RC power set is included in the scope of delivery. The bricks are from GoBricks. This is an officially licensed Audi product.
