The Mould King 20027 – Mould King Sd.Kfz. 251 Half-Track RC is a motorised brick-built model of the German Wehrmacht Sd.Kfz. 251/1 half-track from the Second World War. With 1.298 parts you build a true-to-detail brick model – remote-controlled with a working track drive.

The original – the Sd.Kfz. 251 armoured personnel carrier

The Sd.Kfz. 251 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251) was the most-produced half-track of the German Wehrmacht in the Second World War. Developed by Hanomag from 1937, it was built in more than 15.000 units between 1939 and 1945. As a tracked vehicle with a steered front axle, it combined the off-road capability of a tank with the mobility of a wheeled vehicle. The crew consisted of two men plus up to ten infantrymen; it was usually armed with one or two MG 34 or MG 42. With more than 20 variants – including versions with a flamethrower, anti-tank gun or radio equipment – the Sd.Kfz. 251 was one of the most versatile vehicles of the war and saw action on all fronts.
