Description

The Cada Lotus Exige Cup 430 – Cada C61511 is an officially licensed building block model of one of the most radical British sports cars ever, recreated in a 1:8 scale. With 3,730 parts, a detailed replica is created step by step, impressing as both a challenging construction project and a genuine display piece.

The Original – the Lotus Exige Cup 430

The Lotus Exige Cup 430 was introduced in 2017 as the fastest Lotus of all time at that point. At its heart is a 3.5-liter supercharged V6 producing 436 hp and 440 Nm of torque, which accelerates the lightweight two-seater (only 1,056 kg) from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290 km/h. Its radical aerodynamic package generates as much downforce at 160 km/h as many other sports cars do at top speed – up to 220 kg of downforce under full load. A titanium exhaust system, adjustable Nitron coilover suspension, carbon front splitter, and bucket seats make the Exige Cup 430 equally suitable for both road and track. The vehicle features the classic Clark Racing Green paint scheme – a tribute to Formula 1 World Champion Jim Clark, who won his title in a Lotus in 1965.

The Model – Cada C61511

The Cada Exige Cup 430 model consistently translates the low, wide silhouette of the original into building blocks. The distinctive large rear wing, the characteristic front splitter, the side air intakes, and the sporty body shape are faithfully recreated. All 24 printed details are directly on the parts – not a single sticker. The interior features a bucket seat, central controls, and a gear shifter, reflecting the purist racing interior of the original. The model's mechanics include functional steering and a solid suspension, bringing the engineering prowess of the real Exige to life. The Cada C61511 Technic Set was developed in collaboration with renowned MOC designer Suhwan Ji and is officially licensed by Lotus.
