The Original – the classic carousel

The carousel is one of the oldest and most well-known amusement park attractions in the world. The first mechanical carousels emerged in 17th-century Europe; in the 19th century, the magnificent Victorian horse carousels with hand-carved wooden horses, mirrored glass, and steam organs became a symbol of the fair. The typical style with white columns, golden ornaments, colored lights, and rotating gondolas has remained the epitome of nostalgia and fairground atmosphere to this day.
