The Original – The Heavy US Tow Truck

Heavy tow trucks in the style of classic US trucks are among the most impressive commercial vehicles on North American roads. Inspired by vehicles like the Kenworth W990, they combine a powerful tractor unit with a heavy crane and recovery body. With massive booms, winches, and rotating crane platforms, they recover stranded trucks, buses, and other heavy vehicles. Their distinctive design with a long nose, lots of chrome, and imposing presence makes them icons of American truck culture.

The Model – Mould King 19008s

The Mould King model implements the tow truck as a fully remote-controlled, high-end technical model. It is equipped with 19 motors and a pneumatic system and is controlled via remote control or app. Functions include driving with all-wheel steering (4×4), extendable, lowerable, and rotatable boom arms, winches, extendable outriggers, and remote-controlled details such as doors and hood. It is a licensed MOC from designer Lucioswitch81. Motors, battery boxes, pneumatics, and remote control are included.
