The Cada Long March 5 Rocket – Cada C56032 is an officially licensed building block model of the Chinese Long March 5 carrier rocket. With 1,500 parts, it creates a 67 cm tall display model with a modular design, transparent cutaway parts, and an optional LED launch scene diorama – officially developed in collaboration with CASCI.

The Original – The Long March 5 Carrier Rocket

The Long March 5 (CZ-5) is China's most powerful carrier rocket and a central element of the Chinese space program. With a height of approximately 57 meters, a core diameter of 5 meters, and four liquid-fueled boosters, it can carry up to 25 tons of payload into low Earth orbit. The CZ-5 first launched in November 2016. Since then, it has carried modules of the Chinese Tiangong space station into space, transported the Mars rover Tianwen-1 to Mars, and carried lunar missions such as Chang'e 5 and Chang'e 6. The rocket was developed and built entirely in China and marks an important step towards lunar missions and the long-term goal of manned Mars exploration.

The Model – CaDA C56032

The CaDA Long March 5 model has a modular design – just like the real rocket. The four booster rockets and the two main stages can be separated and reassembled individually. The fairing can be removed on one side to reveal the inner structure: booster engines, kerosene tanks, liquid hydrogen tank, primary engine, and payload are recreated. In the upper part of the rocket, a Mars rover and a lander are stowed, which can be removed. Transparent parts make the inner structure visible from the outside. The scope of delivery also includes LED strips, adhesive tape, and cotton balls, with which a launch scene diorama can be created around the tubular packaging.

The CaDA C56032 Long March 5 set includes 1,500 parts made of ABS plastic. The finished model measures 17.5 × 67 × 17.5 cm (W × H × D) and weighs approximately 2,010 g. Officially licensed by CASCI. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
