The F-15E Strike Eagle is a two-seat, supersonic fighter-bomber developed by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing). Since its first flight in the 1980s, the F-15E has been known for its versatility, as it can perform both air superiority missions and precision attacks against ground targets.

It is based on the design of the F-15, an air superiority fighter, but has been heavily modified to carry a larger weapons payload and to be operational in all weather conditions, both day and night. The F-15E has proven itself in numerous conflicts and is one of the most widely used combat aircraft in the US Air Force.
