The F-15E Strike Eagle is a two-seat evolution of the proven F-15 Eagle air superiority fighter and was designed as an all-weather, multi-role combat aircraft. It made its first flight in 1986 and has been in service with the U.S. Air Force since 1989. Unlike the pure fighter version, the Strike Eagle is designed for both air-to-air combat and precise ground attacks. With its two powerful engines, high payload capacity, and long range, it is one of the most powerful combat aircraft in the world and has been a backbone of the U.S. Air Force for decades.
