The Wange 6216 – Great Wall of China is an architectural building block model of one of the greatest structures in human history. With 1,517 parts, it creates a 70 cm long detailed model of the Great Wall with watchtowers, battlements, and staircases – as a static display model.

The Original – The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China (Chinese: 长城, Cháng Chéng, "Long Wall") is one of the most impressive structures ever built by humans. It is not a single structure, but a system of historical border fortifications from different eras. Construction began as early as the 7th century BC. The best-known and best-preserved sections date from the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). According to the latest surveys, the wall extends over a total of approximately 21,196 kilometers and includes thousands of towers, fortresses, and ramparts. It ran along the northern border of the Chinese Empire and was intended to keep nomadic horse peoples from the steppes of Central Asia at bay. Since 1987, it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
