The Mould King 10114 – Mould King Doozenburg is a building block model of an American luxury classic from the 1930s in a 1:12 scale. With 1,308 parts, a detailed Doozenburg brick model is created – the Mould King Doozenburg combines historical glamour with modern building technology.

The Inspiration – the Duesenberg Model J

The Duesenberg Model J was unveiled to the public at the New York Auto Show in 1928 and is still considered one of the most significant American automotive masterpieces ever. Its 6.9-liter inline-eight engine with dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder produced 265 hp – engine technology that was still considered advanced thirty years later. The supercharged SJ version from 1932 increased the output to 320 hp and reached over 200 km/h. Duesenberg built only around 471 vehicles, each with custom bodywork crafted by specialists like Murphy or LeBaron. Owners included film stars like Gary Cooper and Clark Gable – the Duesenberg was the ultimate status symbol of the American age of glamour.

The Mould King 10114 Doozenburg brick model recreates the classic's long fenders, distinctive grille, and elegant bodywork in building blocks. The doors, hood, and trunk can be opened, and the interior with seats and dashboard is fully detailed. The removable roof allows for two display options: closed as an elegant coupé or open as a classic convertible. The front wheels are steerable, and the mirrors are adjustable. The Mould King Doozenburg is designed as a pure display model – no RC power set, no drive.
